This experience combined with over 20 years of yoga training and having taught over 12,000 yoga classes helps Kim synthesize and present multifaceted resolutions including the use of the Pilates Reformer machine for painful diagnoses of orthopedic, cardio-pulmonary, and neurological origin. She has has studied Iyengar, Forrest, Ashtanga, Restorative, Swatantra, Kripalu and Bikram yogas for decades and is certified on all the Pilates machines to create an authentic, safe and therapeutic yoga and Pilates approach. Author of “The Therapy Bible on Yoga”, Kim has produced over 50 yoga exercises DVDs for specific diagnoses viewable Free on YouTube or purchase download on Vimeo. As a physical therapist at Aspen Valley Hospital in Aspen, Colorado, she also traveled for Cross Country Education throughout the USA teaching in at least three cities of almost every state. For them she taught a continuing education course to physical therapists and rehab professionals on how to integrate yoga into rehab and it’s benefits for specific diagnosis, her specialty. Volunteer work: Kim has served as a physical therapist to Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity and the Catholic Priest Novitiate in Kolkata, India. She collaborated with Health Volunteers Overseas in the country of Bhutan’s (near Tibet) to teach physical therapy students anatomy and the bio-mechanics of yoga as rehab for the patients of Bhutan's hospital.
